Your tour starts and ends in Zanzibar Island. This 4-day wildlife safari takes you to the very best stunning Tanzania national parks where you will be able to see vast numbers of wild animals and birds. This comprehensive tour takes you to the northern circuit visiting the magnificent Tarangire National Park, the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, and the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti is renowned for the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles cross the plains in search of fresh grazing. You'll also have the chance to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) across these incredible parks.

Day 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Early morning pickup from your Zanzibar hotel (approx. 5:30 AM) and transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Depart on a scenic flight to Arusha (approx. 7:30 AM, arriving 9:30 AM). Meet your safari guide and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Look for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 550 bird species. The park's lifeblood, the Tarangire River, attracts wildlife throughout the dry season.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route as you enter the endless plains of the Serengeti.

The Serengeti, meaning "endless plains" in Maasai, is home to the Great Migration – millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles searching for fresh grass. You'll have an afternoon game drive exploring this incredible ecosystem, searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and more.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Game Drive

Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti. Wake up early for a sunrise game drive when predators are most active. After breakfast at the camp, continue your game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush.

Depending on the time of year and migration patterns, you'll visit different areas of the Serengeti. Look for river crossings (if you're lucky), spot big cats lounging on kopjes (rock outcroppings), and enjoy the incredible diversity of wildlife. Optional afternoon game drive or visit to a Maasai village (additional cost).

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Zanzibar

Early breakfast, then drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africa's "Eden" and is one of the best places to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) in one day.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the famous hippo pool before ascending the crater rim. Drive to Arusha Airport for your evening flight back to Zanzibar (departure approx. 7:20 PM, arrive 8:20 PM). Transfer to your Zanzibar hotel.
